Coupon Lingo

If you are new to couponing. Be aware couponers use Coupon lingo. No need to fear, Coupon Deals & Freebies is here!!!!

WYB - When You Buy 
SS - Smart Source (Coupons) Usually comes in your Sunday Paper
ECB or ECBs - Extra Care Bucks (Comes as a coupon at checkout at CVS 
MIR - Mail in rebate 
OOP - Out of Pocket (Cash paid)
BOGO or B1G1 - Buy one get one (Free)
RR or RRs - Register Rewards (Comes as a coupon at checkout at Walgreens
PG or P&G - Procter and Gamble (Coupons) Usually come in your Sunday paper
MFG or MFR - Manufactuer
OYNO or OYNP - On your next order or On your next purchase
CRT - Cash register tape 
WAGS - Walgreens
BLINKIE : A coupon from a dispenser mounted in a store near where the item is shelved. Blinkies are so named because the popular SmartSource coupon dispenser has a small blinking light to attract the attention of shoppers.
CATALINA (Cat or cat): A coupon printed at the register on a special printer from Catalina Marketing. Cats, which may be store coupons or manufacturer coupons, are triggered by the buyer's current purchase or history of past purchases.
PEELIE: A coupon attached to an item that is peeled off before use on that item or another specified item.
Q: Coupon.
SRP: Suggested retail price
STACK: To use more than one coupon on a single item. Most stores allow customers to stack a store coupon and a manufacturer's coupon, but they will not allow more than one manufacturer's coupon to be used on a single item.
